Spacerkiem po Warszawie - Museum of the History of Polish Jews

Polin to po hebrajsku Polska, to również znaczy " miejsce gdzie odpoczniesz" !!!

We have 1000 years of common history.
Before Warld War II, Jews accounted for 30% of Warsaw residents. Isaac Bashevis Singer, Janusz Korczak, Władysław Szpilman, Bruno Schulz, Rachela Kamińska, Irena Sandler.... all lived here.
Muzeum of the History of the Polish Jews will be open to the public in spring of 2014. It will cover the period from the 10 century to present times.

Art cerated by Jews, or with Jews in mind, they were created by professional artists and by amateurs. In this space art speaks to us in a simple language....speaks about history, memory, Holocaust, absence, antisemitism, Israel....
